Position Summary: Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven US Sales Manager to spearhead their sales initiatives across the United States. This role is pivotal in driving sales strategy, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with new and existing customers. Reporting directly to the CEO, the US Sales Manager will play a key role in achieving ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize Schwarzer Precision’s profile, brand equity, and value in target industries and markets.

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities and maintain/grow existing business within the US.

  • Open doors to large customers not currently using Schwarzer pumps and find the right contacts within those organizations.

  • Find and lead customer projects in cooperation with inside sales and the R&D team.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

  • Calculate and present offers, negotiate contracts, and pricing.

  • Develop and implement growth strategies with the CEO and the international sales team.

  • Manage daily business activities in collaboration with inside sales, located in Germany.

  • Handle budget, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Participate in relevant trade shows and industry events.

  • Travel (50 - 75%) to meet clients and attend events.

  • Act as the "Voice of the Industry" by actively participating and speaking at industry-relevant exhibitions, seminars, and associations.

  • Launch new products and train personnel to identify Schwarzer Precision applications and opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain a local business plan in collaboration with the CEO and the international sales team.

  • Provide new application requirements from the field to support new product development.

  • Facilitate communication between customers, engineering, quality teams, and other relevant departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical training strongly preferred.

  • 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in B2B and OEM markets with a focus on pumps.

  • Proven ability to open doors and generate leads with large customers.

  • Strong network within the industry is a plus.

  • Ability to handle long project timelines and sales cycles.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to implement solutions successfully.

  • Strong assertiveness and persuasive abilities to represent and persuade in difficult situations.

  • Eagerness to learn and continuously develop new skills and knowledge.

  • Exceptional customer orientation with a focus on maximizing value and satisfaction.

  • Excellent communication skills, both factual and interpersonal.

  • Ability to think and act cross-functionally and process-oriented.

  • Must live close to a major airport; Charlotte is advantageous but not required.

Compensation commensurate with experience and ability.
