As a National Sales Executive, Corporate Travel, you will conduct sales activities related to selling our portfolio of 150 hotels in 26 states, including guest rooms and meeting facilities. The performance of the National Sales Executive is measured by account revenue growth, new account development, the creation and achievement of strategic quarterly sales plans, and the cultivation of account relationships with key decision-makers.
An average of 70% of work time is devoted to client-facing sales activities with the remaining 30% of work time devoted to administrative efforts. This role has the potential for travel out of the home city up to 30% to 50% of the time.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Grow account revenue through high-impact & complex accounts.
Drive vertical saturation within assigned Corporate accounts, fostering relationships at all levels.
Generate revenue through proactive new business discovery and creative relationship building.
Communicate account engagement strategy, sharing expertise to drive revenue and analyze industry trends collaboratively.
Proactively connects customers with relevant brand offerings across the chain, fostering deeper engagement and driving loyalty.
WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU
Demonstrates knowledge of sales techniques and exhibits the ability to advance customers through the sales cycle.
Possesses excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal that are grammatically accurate.
Presents confidently to audiences of various sizes, with quality and relevant messaging.
Communicates with Internal stakeholders (Revenue Optimization, Operations Leaders, etc.) in a way that builds trust and revenue through collaboration.
Exhibits effective time management, through structure, self-discipline, and smart calendar planning.
Confident in utilizing multiple technologies including CRM, Microsoft365, and industry research platforms.
Education
Experience
Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in outside sales and account management, specifically Corporate Travel Management.
Previous experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred, showcasing familiarity with the industry.
