Thorough understanding of DB plans, institutional investment management, custody solutions, and ERISA needed. Must have excellent problem-solving, analytical, oral and written communication, leadership, relationship building, and consultative selling skills Lead and attract client relationships, understand and articulate client interests, own the management, exploration and implementation of complex customized investment solutions and services, and produce engaging thought capital and marketing collateral.
Comprehensive knowledge of the financial services market and products and knowledge of regulatory issues facing clients/prospective clients required. Comfortable working with ambiguity, influence partners and build strong relationships with current and prospective clients and internal teams across the Principal organization. Must be detail oriented and a self-starter, willing to take initiative, and drive projects forward.
Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint applications required. Extensive travel and overnight stay required (up to 25 - 50% of the time). As a required part of the role, candidate must be able to provide personal transportation to business related events. Licenses Required within 5 months of employment (strong preference for fully licensed): Successful Registration as an Investment Company Products/Variable contracts Limited Representative (FINRA Series 6 or equivalent and FINRA Series 63). Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries.
Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $174000 - $236000 / year Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Pension Eligible Yes Additional Information Location This is a remote role with a preference for Des Moines, IA location.
