Summary of Responsibilities

The National Leasing Experience Specialist will be responsible for training and delivering guidance on the Avenue5 sales, leasing, and customer experience standards and processes. This role will offer both remote and onsite support to the Avenue5 leasing associates through hands- on engagement with the leasing teams. The National Leasing Experience Specialist will work closely with operations teams, career development, performance, and marketing to increase conversion rates and achieve occupancy goals as well as identifying areas for opportunity and executing improvement strategies for struggling properties. The National Leasing Experience Specialist will work directly with leasing programs and products to This position is hybrid; however, travel is to be expected throughout the Avenue5 portfolio 50% of the time.

Primary Responsibilities and Objectives

  • Travel to various markets to work with operations teams as needed to support and improve leasing processes for properties in need as well as assist in the understanding of understanding leasing best practices, including lead management and CRM process

  • Drive high-level property performance, improve customer service, achieve targeted leasing goals, and increase ROI through remote and onsite support

  • Assist in the implementation of portfolio wide KPIs for effective lead management and increased conversion and closing ratios

  • Evaluate performances by analyzing reports and metrics while creating and executing action plans to achieve KPIs

  • Strategize with regional marketing managers and operations to identify areas of opportunity to increase conversion for the portfolio

  • Partner with national marketing programs to determine shortfalls in current process in the lead nurture cycle based on site visits and upward feedback from onsite associates

  • Provide creative solutions with national marketing programs for actionable change based on performance evaluation

  • Develop and refine the lead management, follow up, and closing best practices within CRM and implement through training

  • Conduct performance audits on leasing support tools and programs to ensure onsite teams are successfully utilizing the tools

  • Establish a consistent approach to market-specific sales calls for operations teams to address underperforming properties

  • Implement and manage the standards for the onsite leasing experience including tour path, hospitality, collateral, and the overall onsite brand experience

  • Support and collaborate with property marketing to improve resident experience with marketing tools, programs, products, and resources available

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required

  • Four plus years of experience in the multi-family property management industry is required

  • Two plus years of experience in leasing and sales is required

  • 1-2 years working in a national or corporate leasing or sales support role is strongly preferred.

  • One plus years of pre-development, lease-up and/or grand opening experience in the multi-family property management industry is preferred

  • Three plus years of experience in Yardi Voyager marketing module, Real Page or other equivalent system is preferred

Skills and Requirements

  • Understanding of corporate office environment and decorum required.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong time Management and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google programs

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional creative thinking skills

  • Project management skills are required

  • Strong understanding of property management industry trends, issues, and emerging technology

  • Outstanding presentation skills

  • Ability to motivate associate and create rapport with teams to encourage associates to do their best by leading and communicating a shared vision

  • Positive demeanor, willingness to learn new things, and excellent professional judgement

  • Complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing and Preventing Discrimination and Harassment training and other courses if assigned

  • Ability to travel to various markets within the portfolio frequently

Scheduling

  • Required to maintain a regular schedule which may also require working outside of typical schedule for travel

  • This position will require the ability to travel to properties throughout the Avenue5 portfolio (50% of the time)
