Position Title: National Director of Security

Location: Chevy Chase, MD

Salary: $90,000 + bonus eligibility (pay is commensurate with experience and geographic location)

Travel Requirements: This role may necessitate travel to different regions of the east coast and mid-west. It may also require regular visits between various work locations.

We are seeking a dedicated National Director of Security to join our team in Washington, DC, focusing on a prestigious national account. This role is pivotal in maintaining the account's outstanding performance and delivering top-tier service to our valued customer. The ideal candidate will be at the forefront of ensuring that our client's expectations are not only met but exceeded, through strategic oversight and exceptional management.

Essential Functions

  • Guarantees consistent operations across the portfolio through routine communications with key client contacts and local GardaWorld Branch Teams.

  • Availability for on-call duty 24/7 to address any client or team issues and emergencies, along with arranging alternate support during any absences related to security operations.

  • Responsible for the maintenance and update of all business databases, such as CRM and ERP systems.

  • Conducts periodic reviews of MSA compliance at both branch and site levels as necessary.

  • Establishes and nurtures strategic relationships for the development of principal accounts, client contacts, and partnerships with local GardaWorld Branch Teams.

  • Formulates, executes, and assesses comprehensive security and crisis management strategies.

  • Vigilantly oversees client billing processes, including DSO assessments and follow-ups on overdue payments.

  • Maintains current Client Summary Forms (CSF) and Account Summary Forms (ASF) on record.

  • Seeks out enhancements to the client's security program to fortify a lasting, positive relationship.

  • Comprehends, fulfills, and upholds the contracted KPIs for the account client.

  • Skillfully navigates customers through intricate integration projects, contracts, RFPs, and the onboarding sequence.

  • Takes charge of data analysis and the preparation of internal reports for client management.

  • Provides precise and prompt pricing estimates in collaboration with the local branch and executive sponsor.

  • Prepares and delivers comprehensive client-focused presentations, including KPI/Truth Report Presentations, Action Plans, and Customer presentations.

  • Skilled in crafting reports, correspondence for the client on behalf of the company, instructional materials, and standard operating guidelines.

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial forecasting, margin analysis comprehension, and interpretation of financial documents, including Account Summary Forms (ASFs).

  • Resilient in handling challenges and adept at managing stress from clients and team members in a constructive manner.

  • Outstanding skills in written and verbal communication, client service, and managing projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of successful experience in security operations management

  • Required to clear comprehensive background checks, which may encompass local, state, and federal criminal records, drug testing, skills evaluation, interviews, and personality assessments.
