LOCATION: This position is on-site, office-based in Atlanta, GA (hybrid model - 3 days remote / 2 days in office- Tuesday & Wednesday)

Under the direction of the National Vice President, Corporate Partnerships & Engagement (NVPCP&E), the National Director of Corporate Partnerships & Account Management has responsibility for creating an integrated strategy to elevate a comprehensive and sustainable corporate engagement platform. Diversify and accelerate Boys & Girls Clubs of America's annual and long-term revenue growth, marketing, and mission goals, and working collaboratively with NVPCP&E, National Director, Corporate Partnerships & Business Development (NDCP&BD), and National Director, Corporate Partnerships & Engagement Strategy and Operations (NDCP&ESO). Responsibilities also include aggressively managing and tracking incremental revenue opportunities including but not limited to development events, cause marketing, consumer campaigns, special projects, and active participation in an overall results-oriented, collaborative development effort. As part of the Resource Development Extended Leadership Team, this position provides critical input into department-wide strategic objectives and initiatives to ensure growth goals are met.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Partnership Strategy & Execution• In collaboration with the NDCP&BD establish a comprehensive framework for a unified sales approach, fostering consensus and collaboration among departmental leaders responsible for marketable properties and programs.• Provide guidance and resource development to assist in the success of the overall corporate partnership and account strategy. • Develop process and procedures in building best-in-class executive, board, and stewardship engagement to successfully retain and incrementally grow corporate partnerships.

Lead/Manage a High-Performing Teams • Hire, train, supervise, evaluate and develop a successful high functioning team of Sr. Directors according to BGCA's policies and procedures, ensuring the overall smooth functioning of the staff.• Provide strategic account planning, direct supervision, and guidance to a team of approximately 28 people.• Lead the Account Management team ensuring all members are participating in planning, solicitation, implementation, and evaluation.• Monitor and forecast revenue with integrity individually and with Sr. Directors and NDCP&BD, as requested. • Work within Resource Development and Board adopted policies and procedures.• Assure account management staff adoption and compliance of partnership legal standards related to branding, non-endorsement, commercial co-ventures and state cause marketing rules and regulations.• Work closely with the NVPCP&E to ensure all senior and volunteer relationships are managed and leveraged effectively for BGCA.• Participate and assist in the development of best practices, policy determination and management decisions of the Resource Development and Corporate Partnership team. • Demonstrate BGCA ICARE values integrating into work environment and ways of work.• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures as described in BGCA's Employee Handbook, Ethics Policy and elsewhere.

Provide Strategic Leadership to Resource Development Team(s)• Actively participate in strategic planning with the Corporate Partnerships & Engagement Leadership Team, the Resource Development Extended Leadership Team, and the Resource Development Team. • Share responsibility, and significantly contribute to individual and team goals, as well as other quantitative factors.

Partnership Development & Engagement • Enhance the value proposition of Boys & Girls Clubs of America partnerships by incorporating jointly crafted unique and innovative ideas that align with and bolster the business strategies and goals of our partners.• Develop and ensure adoption of standardized account management practices, which provides seamless execution and implementation of partnerships including annual strategic planning, execution plans/timelines, and integrated communications. • Research and develop a tiered and integrated stewardship program for all partners to strengthen Boys & Girls Clubs of America's position within corporations and increase partnership health through renewal/retention rates.• Manage the development and execution of annual partner cultivation events and identify other opportunities as they arise. • Continue development of account management team/structure to meet annual partnership revenue goals; provide support and environment that fosters professional growth and advancement of account management team function to secure annual partnership renewals.

Manage Projects and Administration to Meet Annual Budget• Successfully achieve annual corporate partnerships and engagement budget (both revenue and expenses)• Ensure timely receipt, distribution and reconciliation of all partner and club reconciliation to include pass-through opportunities, grant management, and annual revenue allocations working in conjunction with Finance Department• Lead and manage content review and development of corporate partner sections on bgca.net and bgca.org.• Support NPSP training/implementation among team.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or related education/experience equivalency.• Minimum of 15 years successful account management, fundraising and/or sales experience.• Preferred experience of managing a highly functioning account management team.• Demonstrated track record of planning, managing, and growing corporate relationships within the non-profit sector. • Experience working with high level corporate representatives and volunteer board members is preferred. • Demonstrated successful experience in leading, supervising and developing staff. • Working knowledge of Salesforce and/or other related CRM system.• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.

ENVIRONMENTAL & WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal internal working environment. Overnight travel estimated at 35-40% (which can be 8 to 10 days or more in a month, including some weekends, depending upon scheduling). The individual selected for this position must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to navigate areas of the country or abroad by using a map or other direction methods. Ability to travel by car train and by air.
