National Accounts VRV Sales Engineer

May include :

• Promote the use of HVAC equipment through the use of advanced selection guides, submittal tools, calculations, drawings and application aides traditionally used in the commercial market space.

• Identify changes to existing tools or new software products needed with our internal tools and applications group.

• Effectively communicate project status to internal stakeholders.

• Monitor competitive activities/products and provide continuous gap analysis in products/services.

• Know and understand regulatory requirements for products and convert knowledge to risk mitigation strategies.

• Provide sales support for product benefits and features internally and externally (Product Training/Architects/Engineers at meetings).

• Participate in additional projects/activities to support business needs for both national and global key accounts.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of HVAC technology, components and industry

• Advanced knowledge of durable goods manufacturing processes

• Strong knowledge with commercial specification requirements for professional submittals and applications of products to multiple stakeholders (Building Owners, Architects, Engineers and Project Managers)

• Strong ability to perform energy management calculations for single and three phase equipment for evaluations and specifications

• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations knowledge to create advantages for single phase and three phase equipment usage in commercial and multi-tenant applications

• Knowledge of building science a plus

• Effective verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills

• Ability to apply Voice of Customer techniques to product cycle

• Ability to apply business and financial methods

• Ability to negotiate externally with vendor partners and internally with other company professionals

• Ability to influence quality systems

• Flexibility to adapt work plan to reach goals as conditions change inside and outside company

• Ability to apply good judgement and decision-making skills and strong work ethics and integrity on the job

Experience:

• 10+ years' experience

• Experience with an HVAC manufacturer

• Experience writing technical documents (manuals, spec sheets) a plus

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Physics or the applied sciences, MBA is a plus

• Professional Engineering status in one or multiple states or significant progress to achieve the status of PE (multiple sub-discipline concentrations are acceptable, including civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.) a plus

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• Must be able to perform essential responsibilities without supervisor (conduct meetings, travel, etc.)

Pay Range :

$113,300.00 - $141,650.00
