SUMMARY: The National Account Sales Specialist is responsible for targeting and developing new National and Regional Account sales opportunities and providing account management and retention, with the goal of meeting and exceeding sales budget. This is a remote position with the ability to work from most areas within the United States.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop Target List of appropriate National Accounts opportunities focusing on the End User/National Account. Implement approved strategic business and marketing plan.
Develop relationships through effective time management with end users, facilities, architects, designers, construction teams, and procurement teams with the primary goal of creating annuity National Accounts.
Responsible for all sales activities from lead generation to sales closure to new National and Regional Accounts opportunities and as requested, potentially manage certain existing National Accounts business.
Preparation of RFP's and other documents that are required by National Accounts.
Market Florida Tile, Cotto d'Este and THICKER product brands as well as FTI3 category of products as appropriate. Maintain the highest level of product and technical knowledge.
Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
Work with Strategic Commercial Director to develop and execute all necessary support activities with respect to National Accounts. This includes coordination with Branch and Independent Distribution.
Assess competitors, their product lines and strategies.
Frequent travel is expected, with significant flexibility required.
Regular communication with Strategic Commercial Director as to performance related to key goals.
Utilize company software for project registration, tracking and sales activity.
Additional duties as assigned.
Strong interpersonal skills are required -- including the ability to maintain positive relationships, manage conflict, and facilitate the resolution of issues with internal and external clients and departments.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to travel up to 70% required.
At least three years of commercial sales experience within the national accounts realm.
Bachelor's Degree in business, interior design, architecture, facilities or related discipline preferred.
Ability to achieve company goals with little supervision.
Ability to analyze individual markets in order to set goals, plan and execute market research, forecasting sales and establishing new markets.
Ability to develop, plan, and execute yearly business plan.
Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast paced work environment.
Strong computer proficiency, including emphasis in the Microsoft Office Suite and ERP (SAP Preferred).
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and adapt to an environment with shifting priorities. Must possess excellent time management skills.
