Overview

TESSCO is currently looking for a National Account Executive to add the the Commerical Sales Team in the Value Added Resller Market. The National Account Executive (NAE) plays a fundamental sales role in achieving ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The candidate must be driven to develop, new business relationships and strengthen current customer relationships, at high levels within the assigned account portfolio. The NAE must build sales strategies, work with cross functional teams and be able to identify industry trends to maximize business opportunities.

The successful candidate will work out of their home ideally in the Phoenix or Seattle area.

Responsibilities

  • Build the trust and confidence to key customers as an invaluable business partner and problem solver

  • Presenting, promoting, and selling products to existing and prospective customer

  • Manage a portfolio of key customer accounts with a 30 day frequency to further develop business and customer relationships.

  • Develop a strategic account plan to acquire extensive knowledge of key customers' business and challenges

  • Collaborate with other TESSCO teams to provide customer solutions

  • Enhance and develop the consultative relationship with a focus on total addressable opportunities through building relationships at all levels within each account.

  • Maintain a high level of activity

  • Utilize Salesforce.com tools and TESSCO systems to manage, track and develop customers.

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, yearly revenue and profit targets.

  • Exhibit a thorough knowledge of key account history, culture, identity and goals

  • Demonstrate confidence and accountability for growing new relationships and delivering revenue targets

Qualifications

  • Superior relationship building skills on the phone, virtually and in-person.

  • Articulate, persuasive and influential communicator with high level active listening skills.

  • Strategic account planning and consultative selling competencies.

  • Professional presentation skills and highly developed interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated with proven experience managing multiple, competing priorities.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor's Degree, or significant relevant experience.

  • MS/MA, a plus

  • 10+ years business-to-business sales experience.

  • Successful track record of managing national accounts (positive revenue and profit)

  • Working knowledge of MS word, excel and power point.

  • Salesforce.com experience a plus.

The BLINCYTO National Account Manager will report into the National Sales Manager. Their primary responsibility is to assess and diagnose the current business environment in targeted accounts in relation to Blincyto and plan actions for success in these accounts. This individual will work internally through the matrix team, and externally with customers to develop strong relationships across broad stakeholder groups within targeted hematology/oncology accounts to ensure successful adoption and utilization of BLINCYTO to support BLINCYTO performance and brand strategy. Role responsibilities: * Key Account Strategic lead for BLINCYTO * Maintains comprehensive account profile / needs assessment / strategic plan * Identifies drivers/barriers and coordinates pull-through initiatives across field teams (Sales Representative, Clinical Oncology Specialist, Field Reimbursement Specialist, Regional Marketing Manager) * Partners with BLINCYTO sales manager on business reviews and performance tracking at target accounts * Identifies and routinely meet with appropriate stakeholders across targeted accounts to educate on BLINCYTO and provide logistical support to optimize the utilization of BLINCYTO therapy. * Leads relationships with Home Health vendors, including business reviews and contracts * Generates actionable field intelligence and recommendations to Amgen home office * Leads Amgen home office engagement and executive field visits * Partners closely with Organize Customer Team Regional Account Executives and OKAM in shared accounts * Provide critical direction on competitive response * Provides field insight/recommendations to Pricing/Brand/GPO teams * Create best practices and have primary responsibility for home health contracts to shape the external environment to improve the customer experience * Proactively leverage value/FDAMA 114 tools where appropriate * Become a trusted advisor to Reimbursement Access Value team to support open access to Amgen portfolio * Frequent Travel (up to 50% of time) Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree and 2 years of sales experience OR Master's degree and 4 years of sales experience OR Bachelor's degree and 6 years of sales experience Preferred Qualifications: * Account Management experience * Demonstrated ability and desire to provide unprecedented customer support across stakeholder groups * Possesses a long term, strategic understanding of the hematology/oncology market inclination to be a contributing member of a high performing team where individual and team success align * Experience executing with products/therapies that require complex customer delivery including logistics management * Ability to successfully work and collaborate with field based and internal cross-functional partners * Strong business acumen and ability to evaluate and apply data to inform decision making * Experience managing and executing in large accounts including strategic planning, problem solving, and conflict resolution * Advanced degree (e.g. MPH, MBA, PharmD, etc.) 7+ years of healthcare sales and/or marketing experience or related experience in buying processes and decision making * Clinic, hospital, oncology, injectable selling experience preferred * Account Management Experience preferred * Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements * Exceptional organizational and time management skills * Outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills * Demonstrated initiative and willingness to work hands-on with a sense of urgency, in a fast-paced environment * Knowledge of P&T, PA, PDL and pharmaceutical contracting system is a plus * Knowledge of payor systems, billing, coding and reimbursement processes * Knowledge of CMS policies and processes * A solid understanding of the current environment and trends in community oncology practices. * Demonstrate leadership ability with a focus on influence, impact and leading without authority. * Ability to understand and identify key staff and departments that influence decision-making for biopharmaceutical product utilization within each key account, then maintain and grow relationships with these key decision makers within the accounts * Ability to identify and procure appropriate Amgen resources to achieve account objectives. * Ability to analyze, interpret and draw insights from clinic economics/financial performance. * Ability to successfully navigate through clinic reimbursement. * Excellent interpersonal skills, which include networking, influencing, negotiation, presentation and written and verbal communication. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple competing priorities * Creative problem-solving skills * Ability to take initiative, impart energy and enthusiasm, and work in teams * Ability to work independently. * Broad range of computer skills Join Us If you're seeking a career where you can truly make a difference in the lives of others, a career where you can work at the absolute forefront of biotechnology with the top minds in the field, you'll find it at Amgen.
