The National Account Manager will oversee and manage all operational, financial, contractual and other administrative functions for a national portfolio. This position provides direction and leadership for contracted guard services. The National Account Manager position oversees guard operations and is also responsible for client service, problem resolution, and service delivery enhancements. This position communicates with client representatives and field offices regularly to facilitate these activities.

Specific Duties and Essential Functions
Ensure contract compliance at all assigned properties. Identify security issues and opportunities, and recommend solutions to clients corporate security team. Respond to critical incidents at client facilities.
Facilitate and provide in-depth client specific training to new on-site G4S Managers. Create and deliver annual training programs
Develop a relationship with local and regional client contacts. Work with all levels of the organization to identify, analyze and solve problems, as well as create opportunities for continuous improvement
Identify and present industry best practices to all teams in all locations
Actively participate in industry-specific professional organizations, such as, but not limited to: ASIS
Assist in the preparation and presentation of Quarterly Business Reviews
Identify Purchaser-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and measure G4S performance of these measurements to ensure acceptable monthly scorecard results
Ensure that all administrative and operational functions, including payroll, billing, accounts receivable, and scheduling are accurate, and issues are promptly resolved
Conduct in-depth audits and analysis of operational and financial controls relating to the account management
Manage and own the accounts receivable process for their customer
Lead all contract renewal, rebid and rate increase initiatives
Create and manage an annual overhead budget. Partner with their customer on their security budget
Mentor managers within their portfolio to establish a succession plan for their portfolio
Survey Security Professionals and leaders to gauge workplace satisfaction
The Ideal Candidate:
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
Minimum of five years of experience managing corporate and contract security-related projects/key accounts in a multi-location environment, with demonstrated ability to deliver efficiencies
Prior experience managing customer relations and contract compliance with a large national or regional customer base
Must have experience effectively building, coaching and leading a team in a customer service focused environment
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
Effective oral and written communication skills
Active listening skills
Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
Attention to detail
Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
Physical Requirements and Environment
Environment: Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected
Major activity: National travel to client sites quarterly / semi-annually. Working on PC / phone while sitting.
Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, stretching, and reaching.
