The National Account Manager will be responsible for retaining a large national customer in Houston. They will maintain and ensure Axalta, our distributors, and customers are delivering on all commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the key elements of the business agreement with the account.

  • Measure Axalta's performance to our promised deliverables

  • Periodically re-assessing the customer need to refine the evolving company-wide strategic plan.

  • Setting of reasonable KPI goals company-wide and per location.

  • Monthly tracking of necessary data to analyze performance.

  • Manage SLA and SLE documents to insure all parties deliver on expectations.

  • Collaborate to jointly create a strategic plan, including coordination with other vendors and manufacturers who also service our mutual account.

  • A consistent strategic focus should be on plans to optimize material gross profit and to reduce the liquid cost per hour.

  • Provide in depth consultative support relative to top line sales, estimatics, company-wide SOP's, ICAR training, OEM Certifications, and their internal leadership development to be a part of the customer's long term success.

  • Facilitate process improvement roundtables with key staff, as required.

  • Coordinate periodic meetings to review the strategic account plan, their goals and the milestones.

  • As customers or locations are added, to lead the paint conversion effort and solicit the distribution resources to help in the effort.

  • Following the conversion, to lead the process of getting them set up with the value-added resources Axalta provides.


The National Account Manager should be an experienced sales professional with extensive Automotive Refinish sales background in various roles with a strong track record for achievement in sales and customer support.

  • At least 10 years of industry experience

  • Demonstrates effective written, oral communication, and presentation skills

  • Effectively uses collaborative approach to problem solving

  • Has an in depth knowledge of collision repair process

  • Has well developed project management skills to be able to manage multiple projects for each of the customers they are assigned

  • Competent computer skills, proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

We are currently seeking a National Account Manager to develop new and expand on existing client relationships within the M&I marketplace. Secures new contracts for Stericycle Environmental Solutions Division, and works closely with the operational team and the Director of Sales to secure new and existing revenue. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Develop and target an account/national plan in conjunction with the Director of Sales to achieve contract, revenue growth, account milestone objectives, and activity expectations within an assigned account/geography. Sell in a highly consultative manner, including the benefits of working with Stericycle brand over other traditional waste services companies and direct competition. Creates presentations and training programs for key sales customers. Coordinate the development of sales objectives, strategies, advertising and promotional programs and ensures their execution. Provide management with information used to evaluate national opportunities. Promotes customer brand loyalty by participating in or joining regional/national professional organizations that serve the M&I marketplace. Develop account specific strategies and plans -- and execute against those plans -- to win national and regional M&I contracts for services. Make daily cold calls on new prospects within the targeted retail market place, along with identifying leads via a variety of internet websites, networking, key vendors and peers within local and national M&I organizations.
