The role:

As the National Account Manager for the UK On Trade division, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and growth strategies for our premium brand portfolio within one of the UK's largest On Trade customers. Your industry expertise and strategic insight will be key in cultivating and sustaining relationships with this valued customer to maximize sales opportunities and enhance market share across Great Britain. This role involves overseeing a large organizational structure, including leading and developing Key Account Managers, Field Sales Managers, and a broader Field Sales team. Additionally, you will need to possess strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking to manage and negotiate complex contractual terms in collaboration with key stakeholders. Your contributions over the next 12 months will be critical in shaping our UK On Trade Strategy and participating in significant negotiations that impact our UK operations, emphasizing the need for exceptional commercial skills and relationship-building abilities across various seniority levels.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Lead the creation and implementation of sales strategies for UK On Trade brands.

  • Key Account Management: Foster relationships with key stakeholders at a major UK On Trade customer.

  • Team Leadership: Inspire and develop Key Account Managers and Field Sales reps to meet targets.

  • Contractual Oversight: Manage contracts, collaborating with legal and finance teams.

  • Commercial Insight: Utilize market insights to optimize pricing and pursue new business opportunities.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams for aligned execution.

  • Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and provide regular performance reports.

  • Negotiation Skills: Lead negotiations for pricing, promotions, and contracts.

  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships across customer organizations.
