Salary range $80k-$100k base; plus commission
SUMMARY
The National Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting, contacting, negotiating, and closing new business opportunities, with a specific focus on large quantity healthcare customers. This role is dedicated to building relationships with procurement directors and Environmental Services (EVS) teams within hospitals, clinics, and large healthcare organizations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in B2B sales, particularly in selling services to the healthcare industry. The National Account Executive will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and play a critical role in driving new customer acquisition and contributing to the growth of Trilogy MedWaste.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- New Business Development: Prospect, contact, and cultivate new sales opportunities, focusing on large quantity healthcare customers (e.g., hospitals, clinics, healthcare systems) across the nation.
- Targeting Procurement & EVS: Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers, including procurement directors and EVS teams. Offer customized medical waste disposal solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Sales Process Ownership: Lead the entire sales process, from prospecting to negotiation and closing. Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline to ensure consistent progress toward revenue goals.
- Contract Negotiation: Manage the negotiation process, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with company goals and healthcare procurement standards.
- Industry Expertise: Develop and maintain deep knowledge of Trilogy MedWaste's products, services, and compliance regulations to effectively sell solutions to healthcare clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients and ensure their medical waste management needs are met through high-quality, compliant services.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline development, and forecasting to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Provide regular updates to the Chief Revenue Officer on sales activity and performance.
- Compliance: Ensure all sales activities adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, particularly those regarding medical waste disposal and environmental standards.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of sales experience in B2B services, specifically within the healthcare industry. Proven success in selling to procurement directors, EVS teams, or similar roles in healthcare organizations is essential.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare procurement processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools.
- Must be self-motivated and goal oriented.

- Able to work an agreed upon standard schedule
- Additional hours as job duties demand
TRAVEL - OTHER
- Travel to Customer and Trilogy facilities when necessary (approx. 50%)
- Must have a current, valid driver's license
- Able to be insurable under our company's liability insurance policy
