Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The role of the PC&L Director is to lead the PC&L regional network and support plants with the implementation of Faurecia logistics standards to minimize risks and maximize efficiency in Supply chain and development of talents & skills in his perimeter.

Main Missions and Results:

• Ensure customer satisfaction in term of service, supervise day to day activities, anticipate customer requirements and maintain good relationships, manage the launch of new programs within the plant.

• Functionally manage the Plant PC&L Manager of his region

• Manage directly Division PC&L sub-region Coordinator, PC&L experts team and new program supply chain team.

• Identify strengths and weaknesses of plant PC&L organization and develop necessary reinforcement plans.

• Assess PC&L competencies of PC&L Team (including PC&L Mgr)

• Ensure that FCP (Faurecia Core procedure) and PC&L standards ( Faurecia Excellence System, 7 Inventories Basics, 7 Deliveries basics ) are in place and respected (receiving, shipping, booking, OHP, Office, ...)

• Monitor Inventory accuracy at region level and ensure with offenders plants relevant action plan in case of deviations.

• Support deployment of accurate production planning (PIC & PDP) and MRP calculation down to LISA manifest usage in plant targeted.

• Challenge & build productivity actions with the plants & his direct team regarding shop floor logistic efficiency in term of Labor costs (flows optimization, AGVs implementations, automation …)

• Set up the means to achieve PC&L prime objectives and ensure results, define convergence plans.

• Ensure preparation of new programs / launches from a PC&L aspect with the supply chain team.

• Identify and implement best practices, Ensure Know-how capitalization.

• Support and coordinate with plant PC&L to identify potentials and actions in regards to Inventory reduction while decreasing MPM (reviews, tools, convergence plan).

• Manage with the supply chain team & Purchasing packaging optimization & productivity actions.

• Lead overall Freight productivity plan for the region with Operations & Purchasing collaboration (truck filling rate, flows consolidation, routes optimization …).

• Organize Workshops to introduce/coach plant PC&L teams on new PC&L Standards, routines/procedures, processes or best practices / lessons learned introduced at Division or Group level - standardize among plants

• Organize Workshops/Exchanges to define and coordinate solution to fix common / systemic issues to the region.

• Make proposal for Plant and Operation PC&L Budget & implement tracking of those.

• Support PC&L program, transport, customs, supply chain, processes to ensure standardization and synergy opportunities between plants and new/ongoing programs

Your profile and competencies to succeed

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Master's degree in engineering

• Experience in production in an industrial environment

• Knowledge of SAP FCS matters

• International mind set, overseas experience a plus

• Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
