Nanny/Safe Driver/Light Housekeeping

Busy working parents who are not looking to micro-manage are looking for a Housekeeper/Nanny ASAP to care for their home and family as if they were their own in Norwalk, CT. The candidate must be proactive and self-starting and need limited direction, setting much of their to-dos and prioritizing as needed once they become familiar with the family. Responsibilities for the reliable candidate will be safely driving the kids to/from full daycare/school and helping with household chores, laundry, and basic meals. Both parents travel a lot for work and when mom is not traveling she works from home. They 100% need stable support and flexibility to help more on travel days.

About the Family

Adults: 2 Busy working parents with significant jobs and can’t be micromanaging daily task lists.
Children: Children in FULL day Pre-school Kindergarten from 8 am-4-5 pm, and every Wed and Thurs 8, 11-year-old step-children (B)2, (G) Almost 4, (G)5  
Dogs: Must be dog friendly- No care needed other than opening the door to let them out, 2 friendly 45-lb dogs, a Bernadoodle and a Mixed rescue

Position Responsibilities

• Childcare: (B)2, (G) Almost 4, (G)5 All in Full-daycare and Kindergarten from 8 am-4-5 pm, and every Wed and Thurs 8, 11-year-old step-children
• Driving: Morning School Drop off: 8-9 am and Evening School Pick up: 4-5 pm
• Housekeeping: Full Housekeeping Required, Family has a Deep Housecleaner
• Evening child support (as needed): 5-7 pm. usually twice a week on Wednesday
• Cooking: Help Start/Prep for Dinner
• Laundry: Family Laundry
• Errands: Yes, 2/3 times a wk Grocery Shopping
• Driving: Car Available for Position

Position Requirements

• Years of Experience
• Minimum of 2 References\
• Must have a CLEAN Driving record
• Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Must currently live within close proximity to the families residence in Norwalk, CT

Position Compensation

• Salary:$30. - $35.+ DOE
