Nanny/Housekeeper

Private family looking to hire a nanny/family assistant in Ridgewood, New Jersey. 

The Ideal Candidate: We will have a new baby in August. Need help with daily household chores, as well as older kids aged 9 and 6 - dropping off at school and activities, preparing snacks and dinner for them. This person must swim. 

What Works Best for Family: Someone who can help keep the home tidy laundry moving, and kids happy!

About the Family

Position Responsibilities

• Childcare: mostly for the older children after school driving to activities   
Ages 6 and 9 years old infant too
• Housekeeping: Shared Housekeeping Required
• Cooking: Help Start/Prep for Dinner
• Laundry: Family Laundry
• Driving: Required 

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday- 11-7 Tuesday and Thursday 3-7 (32 hours per week)
• Languages: English
• Experience:  Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Personality Traits: Calm and kind, organized but flexible, someone who is self sufficient, chill personality, positive, relaxed, takes initiative 

Position Compensation

• Salary: $30-$35 per hour DOE
• Living Accommodations: Live In or Live Out
• Vacation: 3 weeks PTO- prefers time off to be taken when family travels
• Additional Benefits: Federal holidays off and paid
