Nanny

We are seeking a nurturing and energetic nanny to join a family in Arlington, VA, to care for their active 2-year-old toddler  The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare, creativity in play, and a warm, patient demeanor. They also have a newborn due in May and if you are interested in making extra money, you can help at night or they can hire another person to help at night.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with the 2-year-old in stimulating activities, playtime, and educational exercises.
• Provide after-school care for the toddler, including meal preparation and bedtime routines.
• Assist with light household tasks related to childcare, such as tidying toys and children's laundry.
• Flexibility to provide one weekend day care 
• Be attentive to the emotional and developmental needs of both children.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding the children's well-being and any concerns or updates.

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: Monday - Thursday 3PM - 9PM , Friday 12PM - 8PM, Saturday or Sunday 8AM - 8PM
• Languages: English
• Experience: 5 Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Laundry: Just for the child
• Driving: Required, car provided
• Previous experience working with toddlers and infants, preferably in a childcare or nanny role.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize the needs of multiple children.
• CPR and first aid certification preferred.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and provide references.

Position Compensation

• Salary: $30 - $37/hr ,
• Living Accommodations: Live In or Live Out
