Your Career

As a Cybersecurity Portfolio Sales Specialist, you will cover Majors Accounts in the region. Your portfolio includes Advanced Endpoint Protection (Traps), Cortex XDR - Investigations and Response, Cortex XDR - Analytics, Autofocus and Cortex Data Lake.

As a member of the Palo Alto Networks sales team, you will report to the Director, Cortex XDR Sales and will partner with the Major Account sales teams for your region. In this role, you and your Systems Engineer will drive the sales for our Endpoint, Behavioral Analytics and SOC security solutions, delivering our initial customers, and growing your territory. You will own your territory to deliver above quota sales performance. In addition, you will build strategies with Security Focused Channel partner to drive integration of our products and increase in sales. You will drive adoption and understanding of our product suite within our Channel Teams, signing new partners and growing revenue.

Your Impact

  • Extensive domestic travel is required, International travel may be required as necessary

  • Prior experience selling endpoint and SOC security-based products (such as Malware/Exploit Prevention, Anti-Virus, White Listing, SIEM and other techniques) or SAS, Behavior Analytic or Logging tools in the Commercial and Enterprise markets working in a fast-paced start-up environment

Your Experience

  • BS technical degree or equivalent

  • 5-10 years of above quota sales experience as a Regional Sales (Executive)/Manager selling End Point solutions.

  • Self-motivated

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally

  • Enterprise sales experience with and actionable rolodex of decision makers

  • Superb organizational skills

  • "Whatever it takes" attitude and motivation to deliver above quota performance

  • Prior startup experience, experience being one of the first RSMs into an organization

  • Experience working with Channel partners and understanding of a channel centric go to market approach

Duties and Responsibilities This key position requires someone who is able to learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of ExtraHop's products and technologies, competitive products and industry trends. You are primarily responsible for increasing revenue in assigned regions/territories/districts through identifying, recruiting, and developing opportunity for generating direct sales or partnerships with resellers. * Meet and exceed assigned sales targets by closing new accounts and growing revenues in existing customer installations * Identify prospects for ExtraHop products through cold calls, and lead follow-up and face-to-face meetings * Call on senior executives to understand the business, decision-making, and financing processes of your territory * Present and demonstrate ExtraHop products to customers * Provide customer and competitor feedback and field intelligence where available and necessary * Prepare and implement strategic sales account plans for all customers and identify business growth opportunities in assigned customer base * Ensure resellers and field sales engineers and management are working together in the sales process, lead generation, registering opportunities, accurately forecasting revenue, and tracking to required revenue goals established by their discount tier * Work with resellers to grow business in your territory * Prepare and maintain an accurate sales forecast for your territory * Network in customer and related organizations Required Qualifications and Experience * Four-year degree or equivalent in a related discipline (e.g., information technology, computer science, business, or engineering) * Five years' experience in technology sales with a consistent track record of exceeding sales targets * Three years of security sales experience * Demonstrated technical acumen to articulate ExtraHop's value proposition in a differentiated and compelling manner * Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills * Proven history of sales success in network/application management or related IT infrastructured solutions * Demonstrated ability to secure meetings and close deals with senior level executives * Solid understanding of enterprise networking technologies: switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, WAN optimization technologies, and so forth is a plus * Strong independent work ethic and experience working in startup culture * Existing senior level relationships at a wide range of enterprise accounts in your assigned territory * Background in software/hardware sales and distribution with large software, hardware, and/or networking companies * Ability to travel About ExtraHop At ExtraHop, we create great products because we give talented employees the freedom to be intellectually curious and creative.
