What do you get to do in this position?

  • Is accountable for air transportation performance (service, quality and cost) and transport operations for NAM

  • Deploy transportation strategy, Initiates and implements improvement projects to support quality and productivity targets

  • Responsible for carrier relationship management and collaboration with indirect procurement on carrier selection and development of statements of work.

  • Drives a customer centric strategy and day to day operations around data

  • Provide OTDC performance information weekly/monthly

  • Provide root cause analysis for variances within OTDC as well as variances between OTDS and OTDC

  • Deploy common OTDC tracking throughout all region entities

  • Provide region CO2 impact quarterly

  • Support other Transport Quality activities such as claims, packaging, EDI performance, etc.

  • Makes decision post process with historical data to evolve & improve moving forward.

Human Resources Information Technology (HRIT) Manager The North America HR IT team is looking for a talented, passionate, energetic, hard-working, self-starter and focused individual to lead and build a team of hi-performance individuals. As part of the NAM E.IT organization at Schneider Electric, the IT Manager will play a key role in the build-out & deployment of NAM HR Digital roadmap. The successful candidate will have a management background, strong technical acumen, and experience in building modern HR IT capabilities. The candidate will also have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. This position will be a process improvement lead and ensure system standardization. The ability to leverage technology to enhance operational efficiency across functional areas will be critical to success. This position will leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of Human Resources and users of Human Resources Information Systems and processes. Key responsibilities * Coach, develop, and motivate employees on the IT systems team. Adjust appropriate leadership styles based on project, skills and experience of team members. * Understanding of current practices, trends and processes associated with multiple HR functions and how systems can influence productivity in those areas. * Provide leadership to Human Resources technology projects, including request for proposal (RFP) processes, solution selection, project management, implementation, and long term technology planning. Serve as liaison with the vendor in the design, testing and deployment of programs and processes utilizing the systems. * Utilize project management methodologies and practices to manage implementation, upgrades and enhancements. Maintain a portfolio of projects to ensure they are prioritized and resourced accurately with timelines are established. * Assist in the creation of functional project documentation including business cases, requirements and test scripts. Support and collaborate with various functional teams including HR, HR Shared Services and IT teams in the design and documentation of business processes, work flow, output and data retention requirements. * Document and maintain standardized process documentation related to the HR systems. Develop, maintain, and communicate a standard data model including naming conventions and security restrictions. * Ensure that project reporting needs are met while providing tactical input and support for projects and planning activities. * Leadership of functional team in testing system wide implementations or upgrades. Performance of regular system maintenance. * Lead systems support including best practice guidance on system utilization. Documentation of best practices for future reference. The right candidate will have the following capabilities and experience: * Prior experience working with Human Resources Information Systems * Experience with Kronos strongly preferred. Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion, Taleo Recruitment, Taleo Transitions, OBIEE acceptable * Prior experience in program and project management inclusive to developing efficient strategies to conceive, organize and promote long term initiatives and goals * Proficiency to manage multiple projects simultaneously managing end to end * Prior experience developing and/or supporting system integrations required * Understanding of overall Human Resources processes and foundational processes * Analytical and technical skills * Ability to quickly learn concepts and understand process configuration within a system * Strong verbal and written communication skills working with all levels of people (VPs to Individual Contributors) * Ability to maintain a positive attitude while solving complex situations * Proficient in time management and prioritization * Bachelor's degree with minimum of 10 years of general business experience required, including 3-5 years of Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS) experience preferred Leadership Competencies * Demonstrated Leadership behaviors - Straightforward, Challenge, Open, Passionate and Execute * Timely decision making and willingness to take risks * Experience working in a matrix environment for a large global organization * Strong organization skills and ability to set priorities and schedule work deadlines for others * Excellent communication, writing, group facilitation and formal presentation skills * Constructive Engagement: Expresses ideas and disagreements, constructively resolves conflict, and encourages others to do the same * Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving: Accurately assesses problems and effectively and efficiently arrives at solutions * Strategic Thinking: Understands the current state and is able to visualize the ideal state and how to achieve it * Effectively lead individuals to perform at their maximum potential and lead by example * Recognizes the need for, takes personal accountability to adapt, and leads others through organizational change We seek out and reward people for being straightforward, open, passionate, effective and challenging the status quo.
