  • Compliance with the Group Tax Policies and the Tax Management Framework, including the adoption of global processes and procedures

  • Support the execution the annual cycle of country (Federal and State/ Province) corporate tax compliance ensuring timely and accurate information, including tax returns and tax payments, in conjunction with the global co-source adviser as appropriate, as directed by the NA Senior Tax Manager

  • Deal with domestic tax audits under direction from the NA Senior Tax Manager

  • Execute the Groups transfer pricing policy and prepare country transfer pricing documentation under direction from the Group Transfer Pricing Senior Manager

  • Prepare country R&D tax credit claims to the global framework

  • Execute timely and robust tax forecasting to support the financial planning process under direction from the NA Senior Tax Manager

  • Execute timely and accurate tax reporting, including the tax review of the country financial statements as appropriate, under direction from the NA Senior Tax Manager

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key country business stakeholders and ensure local decision making is aligned with the global perspective Skills, know-how and experience:

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English language, verbal and written

  • Qualified tax professional with 8+ years Corporate Tax experience and strong tax compliance knowledge, preferably from the big 4

  • CPA or Master in Taxation preferred.

  • International mind-set and ability to work with dispersed, multicultural and multi-functional teams

  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Good relationship builder at all levels, with ability to work in a matrix organisation and manage multiple stakeholders

  • Capable of managing a team

  • Results oriented, demonstrates initiative, is adaptable and flexible

Preferred:

  • Experience of global organisations

  • Bachelor or Masters degree Technical / professional qualifications:

  • Accountancy and/or tax qualification

VIEW JOBS 12/6/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-06T00:00 Manager Service & Spare Parts NA Atlanta,Georgia,United States—thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (USA) LocationAtlantaPeriodPermanentContractFull TimeStatusLaufende RekrutierungJob ID0_GFT_US00965 Your responsibilitiesPosition Overview * Management and permanent optimization of processes and strategies regarding assigned sourcing categories and purchasing volumes for the Service & Spare Parts PSM organization in North America * Ensuring that all required supplies and services can be procured in the appropriate quality, on time and at the most favorable total cost * Contributing to the optimization of cost and to leveraging supply chain management synergies at tk IS North America Main Duties and Responsibilities: * Steering of all procurement-related processes in the assigned sourcing categories to ensure the required supply of goods/services to the business at optimal cost/performance ratio * Development of strategies to improve the procurement contribution to company results; continuous optimization of assigned sourcing categories * Ensuring implementation of strategies within assigned sourcing categories * Disciplinary and functional leadership responsibility for assigned staff * Supplier Management responsibility for contracts Main Tasks: * Development, implementation and management of assigned sourcing categories: aligning strategic and operative targets for the assigned sourcing categories; defining PSM strategies in line with tk IS PSM targets and with BA/Region- specific targets of the relevant Management Board and Head of Procurement Region * Safeguarding reliability/stability of supply and required quality standards in all procurement transactions in the assigned sourcing categories * Development and implementation of PSM strategies to realize savings for tk IS North America * Ongoing optimization of assigned sourcing categories with respect to cross-functional collaboration, structures, resources, supplier interaction and productivity; introduction and implementation of best practices * Key supplier relationship management; preparing and conducting strategically relevant negotiations; active supplier management * Monitoring of internal performance; provisioning of data required by Procurement Excellence; derivation of suitable improvement measures within assigned area of responsibility * Coordination of interfaces with internal clients and relevant cross-functional partners regarding assigned sourcing categories * Leading and developing assigned staff; supporting succession planning * Execution of global market forecasts and trend analysis, preparing and conducting/leading contract negotiations and leveraging, promoting cost saving opportunities for the company, and conducting analysis that may require profound technical understanding of specific sourcing category codes. * Continuous interaction and support for Buyers, other Technical Buyers, Expeditors, and Logistics Personnel and sharing of best practices on methods and tools, and developing sourcing strategies and supplier evaluations. * Coordination of cross-functional collaboration to ensure that the requirements of internal clients reflect current market offering/support standardization and are in line with pursued cluster/purchasing strategies, frameworks agreements, and transfer pricing guidelines.
