Job Responsibilities

With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.

This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Spartanburg Office, 250 Dewey Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29303

Under limited supervision of the Medical Director, coordinates and supervises, as a team leader, the nursing services in the center, providing nursing assessments, consultations, and monitoring to appropriate resources.

• Coordinates, supervises, and provides services in Nursing Services in all three sites in a culturally sensitive manner.

• Provides specialized nursing and other clinical services in the nursing domain.

• Supervises the nursing staff for the center. Completes EPMS and monitors timekeeping and attendance of supervises.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

STATE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and related nursing experience.

AGENCY MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and related nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
