Job Description:

As an Onboarding Specialist you will be responsible for providing an excellent upfront experience to our new clients. You will be working with new payroll clients to ensure an accurate and professional implementation. This role allows you to work directly over the phone with our new clients to assist with their questions and requests. You will be the point person for the client post sale as they onboard with myPay Solutions. This position requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and a love of working with clients .

Responsible for the onboarding of new client payrolls and day to day payroll production includes setup, payroll processing to banking. You will utilize processes and controls necessary for delivering a high level of service, and quality to myPay Solutions customers.

Key results include:

  • Effectively managed and routinely integrated high volumes of data from multiple sources.

  • Consistently worked independently to meet strict compliance deadlines to effectively deliver timely and accurate payrolls.

  • Utilized expert level of payroll, tax compliance and system knowledge to administer policy and resolve issues.

  • Bring a positive attitude into every interaction with internal and external customers.

  • Customarily responds to client questions regarding various aspects of payroll process and procedures and orientation inquisitions and integration of new and potential clients and accountants.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher (or equivalent work experience).

  • Proven ability to interpret and apply complex payroll tax principles and wage and hour laws.

  • In depth knowledge of processing multi-jurisdictional taxes, benefit accruals, garnishments, expatriates.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to provide a high level of client service.

  • Independently analyze and research complex issues and provide resolution through effective client interface and communication.

  • Self directed, organized and able to meet strict deadlines.

  • Advanced PC knowledge - (Windows, e-mail, Excel, Word, file management, imports, uploads, interfaces).

  • Ability to adapt quickly within a dynamic environment.

  • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification a plus, but not required.

  • Payroll processing experience.

What you'll do… As a Principal Customer Solutions Engineer, you will partner with our Customer Success Managers to drive time-to-value for Duo's most strategic customers, specifically by leading technical onboarding engagements. You will provide architectural guidance and best practices that translate business objectives and requirements into specific recommended configurations, and identify/troubleshoot potential deployment blockers. You must be a strong communicator who comfortably adapts to various customer situations and audiences (from IT administrator to CISO). You should have relevant experience and background in roles that require direct technical customer interaction, such as Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Support. Your other responsibilities will include: * Effectively managing customer expectations - develop, foster and maintain trusted advisor relationship to establish and maintain technical credibility. * Develop playbooks to drive scalability through repeatable implementations, using your attention to detail and focus on process efficiency. * Build technical proficiency across Duo products and supported technical integrations. Present product demos and share knowledge with others through the creation of technical notes and/or end user training materials. * Conduct virtual and occasional onsite project meetings, trainings and knowledge transfer sessions. * Develop, foster and maintain effective working relationships across internal Duo Security teams. Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management, advocate customer feature requests and help influence our product roadmap. * Consistently grow your knowledge of the competitive landscape and industry news. Confidently position Duo and handle objections related to competitive solutions. Skills you have… * 7+ years experience in a customer facing role as an implementation consultant or technical project manager delivering SaaS-based solutions. * 4+ years experience in an IT role (system/network administration, security related industry) * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical degree preferred. * Ability to motivate and lead customers from project planning through successful implementation by leveraging strong technical relationships. * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple customers and project requirements during different stages of the implementation lifecycle. * Excellent written and oral business communication, and project/time management skills. * Comfortable working in large complex Enterprise environments, and ability to assess/diagnose complex network and authentication workflow issues.
