Talent is responsible to set up and operate a variety of computer - controlled and mechanically controlled machine tools to produce precision metal parts, instruments, and tools.
Ability to read blueprints, sketches, or CAD (computer-aided design) manufacturing (CAM) files.
Present finished work pieces to customers and make needed modifications.
Turn, mill, drill, shape and grind machine parts to specifications.
Monitor the feed and speed of machines.
Align, secure, and adjust cutting tools and work pieces.
Set up, operate, and disassemble manual, automatic, and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools.
Test and measure complete products for defects.
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM
General knowledge of blueprint reading.
Understand computerized measuring machines and metalworking processes, ie stock removal, chip control, and heat treating and plating.
Able to operate milling machines, lathes, grinders and water cutting machines, wire electrical discharge machines, and other machine tools.
Knowledge of Lockout / Tagout process.
Prior experience operating a forklift, scissor lift, and articulating boom.
Requires standing for extended periods and perform repetitious movements.
Minimum 1 - 2 years related experience in manufacturing environment.
1 - 2 years college / technical school.
