Music Teacher, 1.0 FTE - Extended Deadline

Brief Description of Essential Duties Under the supervision of the site administrator, provides an educational program for students encompassing basic skills and motivating students to develop the skills, attitude, and knowledge needed for a good educational foundation as follows: • Uses information about individual students' academic strengths, needs, and progress in planning • Provide academic service to engage student in work aligned to the California Common Core Standards • Uses resources that will promote high levels of learning and student engagement • Follows established policies and procedures for reporting incidents (e.g., child abuse, bullying, harassment, and violence) Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree plus appropriate coursework to qualify for teaching credential 2. Appropriate CA credential authorizing the teaching of students in Music or equivalent, with EL authorization

Determination of site location may be different than sites above dependent on transfer requests and final assignment placements for current staff.
