K-12 Music
Scobey Schools is looking for a K-12 Music Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Teacher is responsible for the K-12 Choir and 5-12 Band programs. We have a well established program with a large well stocked band/choir room.
This is a 1.0 FTE position with Salary DOE.
We are a 4-day school week for the 2024-2025 school year. Health insurance, free lunch and free access to all activities, and wide selection of technology (iPads, Chromebooks, computer labs) included.
Must have or be able to obtain a K-12 Music Education Teaching Certificate for the State of Montana.

Our community is very supportive of the arts. Scobey’s community symphony, The Prairie Symphonette, practices twice weekly and puts on two concerts a year.
The Dirty Shame Show, a variety show held the last weekend in June, has been in operation since 1967. Scobey is home to the Jack Reiner Big Band, which plays regional events and benefits. Additional Community information is available at www.scobeymt.com
There are numerous hunting and fishing opportunities for the outdoorsman. The community has a movie theater and newer community swimming pool.
