Apple is seeking a candidate with a strong aptitude for business analysis to join the Music Insights Team at Apple Music. You'll work closely with our internal teams to understand analytics needs, independently solve problems and communicate complex analyses with ease.
As part of a centralized team that collaborates with editorial, label relations, marketing, and data teams, you'll act as a domain expert for how data can inform and drive Apple Music editorial and business strategy across the Apple Music and iTunes business landscape.The Music Insights Team functions as the domain experts for the intersection of music consumption and data. We are focused on contextualizing platform usage, and leveraging data to inform the larger strategy for growing platform engagement and retention. We function as translators between our data, editorial, and business teams, while helping to define the data requirements and tools necessary to understand an extremely complex, and fast-changing subscription environment. Music Insights also works collaboratively with analytics and commerce teams at our label partners to uncover opportunities and identify competitive gaps.
Preference 3 - 5 years of experience working with large datasets to deliver business insights and recommendations

Familiarity with subscription and download business models

Leverage your music analytics domain expertise to contextualize efforts throughout the organization, guiding decisions on editorial and business strategy, customer experience, and strategic opportunities. You love building narratives backed by data and demonstrate a strong desire to continually improve user engagement and retention.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or relevant field.3 - 5 years of experience working with large datasets to deliver business insights and recommendations
