Apple is seeking a candidate with a strong aptitude for business analysis to join the Music Insights Team at Apple Music. You'll work closely with our internal teams to understand analytics needs, independently solve problems and communicate complex analyses with ease.

As part of a centralized team that collaborates with editorial, label relations, marketing, and data teams, you'll act as a domain expert for how data can inform and drive Apple Music editorial and business strategy across the Apple Music and iTunes business landscape.The Music Insights Team functions as the domain experts for the intersection of music consumption and data. We are focused on contextualizing platform usage, and leveraging data to inform the larger strategy for growing platform engagement and retention. We function as translators between our data, editorial, and business teams, while helping to define the data requirements and tools necessary to understand an extremely complex, and fast-changing subscription environment. Music Insights also works collaboratively with analytics and commerce teams at our label partners to uncover opportunities and identify competitive gaps.

Preference 3 - 5 years of experience working with large datasets to deliver business insights and recommendations

You have strong analytical skills, strong out-of-the-box thinking and a curious mind.You are a critical thinker with an ability to see the big picture.Knowledge of statistical principles a plus

Familiarity with subscription and download business models

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable working cross-functionally across a large organization

Aptitude for project managing and driving deliverables, with an ability to be flexible and versatile when needed.You are comfortable working with, and helping to define data visualization tools

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to convey complex findings in a clear, concise and credible manner

You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.You are a self-starter, and comfortable working with a level of ambiguity.Skilled at developing and exercising cross-functional influence; translating between business owners and technical teams.You are results-oriented, upbeat and focused with a strong passion to learn and succeed.You work well under pressure, with proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects.

Help grow a subscription product with an aggressive trajectory in the competitive streaming music landscape, while seeking opportunities to maximize revenue in a mature download business. Leverage your music analytics domain expertise to contextualize efforts throughout the organization, guiding decisions on editorial and business strategy, customer experience, and strategic opportunities. You love building narratives backed by data and demonstrate a strong desire to continually improve user engagement and retention.

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or relevant field.3 - 5 years of experience working with large datasets to deliver business insights and recommendations

We define the internal product roadmap to keep pace with the rapid changes happening in the digital space. We are looking for a team member to manage our operational music publishing obligations for audio-visual content.We're growing and urge you to apply.
