The City of Chandler Cultural Development Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Museum Program Associate (Full-Time, Temporary). We are hiring for 2 positions - Program Coordinator and Marketing and Volunteer Coordinator. These positions serve at the discretion of the department director. The positions are scheduled to work weekdays and every other weekend, averaging 38 hours per week.

The Chandler Museum is a cultural destination unlike any other with engaging, community-focused programs and forums, as well as world-class traveling exhibits. The City of Chandler Cultural Development Department showcases destination drivers in Chandler through the Chandler Center for the Arts, Chandler Museum, Downtown, Public Art, Special Events, and Vision Gallery.
Who we are looking for
Our new team members will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. Both positions will manage the Chandler Museum site on the weekends. The Program Coordinator will direct programs for children, families, schools, and adults. The Marketing and Volunteer Coordinator will manage the museum's communication efforts an volunteer program.

Minimum qualifications
Associate degree in Education, History, Museum Studies, Communication, or related field;
2 years of experience in museums, including one (1) year of supervisory experience; and
Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
The City of Chandler will conduct a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and a driving record check. An offer of employment is contingent upon acceptable results. All applicants hired will be required to be fingerprinted with successful results as a condition of continued employment.
