Our client, a global leader in automotive manufacturing is actively looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team in Herndon, VA!

  • This is an ongoing contract with benefits & PTO!*

As the Payroll Specialist, you will be providing operational and administrative support for the company's multi-state payroll function. They are looking for someone to process payroll for this family of companies and ensure that all company policies and federal regulations are applied.


  • Administration of the payroll system including downloading/uploading information, transmitting payroll, uploading attendance, etc)

  • Reconcile payroll, distribute payroll checks, balance tax filing data, authorize funding of payroll bank accounts

  • Prepare and enter payroll related general ledger entries

  • Analyze and reconcile payroll accounts

  • Respond to employee questions or requests for information on their payroll checks, internal/external audit requests, and other payroll inquiries

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2+ years of multi-state payroll experience

  • Prior experience working with ADP Vantage is a plus
