KTVB, the TEGNA station in Boise, ID, has an opening for a full-time multi-skilled technician. The position is responsible for performing master control operation for KTVB and KTFT.
Duties include operating master control automation, prepping video content and monitoring on-air signals. The responsibility involves interpreting program logs, managing playlists and switching program events and commercial breaks. The job also involves operating audio and robotic cameras for newscasts and studio productions.
The preferred candidate must be familiar with video playback systems, routers and switchers as well as satellite receivers and monitoring systems. Must be organized, flexible and dependable, able to multitask and work well under pressure of deadlines.
Looking for a candidate with 2-5 years of broadcasting and television operations experience. The position will be scheduled for evenings, Monday through Friday.
