REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT (RVP)

The Regional Vice President or RVP is at the forefront of our vision, focused on serving and partnering with our customers and their partners in delivering healthcare to patients locally. The RVP is accountable for setting the overall strategic vision at the region level and will lead 5-7 ecosystem teams in their respective region.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, HEALTHCARE ECOSYSTEM (HED)

The Executive Director, Healthcare Ecosystem or HED focuses on serving and partnering with our customers and their partners. The HED will develop and deliver a local ecosystem plan that will drive business performance across our diverse portfolio. The HED will lead an ecosystem team and play a critical role by coaching team members in their roles as well as in demonstrating our CMG Operating Principles.

MEDICAL DIRECTOR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (MED)

The Medical Affairs Executive Director or MED delivers on the medical aspects of the business and the overarching customer experience. They are accountable for co-creating and driving an overarching medical strategy across an ecosystem with the goal of improving patient outcomes and customer experience. The MED works in a close partnership with the HED to co-lead each ecosystem and ensure shared accountability and responsibility for coaching, mentoring, and leading medical and other field employees in the ecosystem...by coaching team members in their roles as well as in demonstrating our CMG Operating Principles.

DIRECTOR, HEALTHCARE MARKET (HD)

The Director, Healthcare Market or HD works closely with the HED to contribute to and execute on the strategic vision for the ecosystem. The HD leads engagements with specified healthcare stakeholders in the ecosystem. The HD also leads the ecosystem's commercial team and is accountable for delivering growth across a diverse portfolio of products, while simultaneously holding ecosystem and therapeutic area priorities.

THERAPEUTIC AREA MANAGER (TAM)

The Therapeutic Area Manager or TAM is a broad role. The TAM is the clinical go-to for all products in their therapeutic area, or TA, and the driver of demand.

They are the single point of coordination for HCPs within their TA and internally to their teams. The TAM manages Key Opinion Leader speakers in ecosystems from speaker development to program delivery. They communicate access opportunities and clarify issues that aren't patient specific. And the TAM prioritizes HCP needs and works with their ecosystem team to maximize partnership.

BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT MANAGER (BEM)

The Business Engagement Manager or BEM represents the entire product portfolio as a liaison between financial decision makers and Genentech. The BEM owns contract administration within the ecosystem and addresses challenges to contracting changes or program gaps with financial decision makers. The BEM conducts account-level business reviews and influences customers with their account management capabilities.

FIELD REIMBURSEMENT MANAGER (FRM)

The Field Reimbursement Manager or FRM minimizes reimbursement and access barriers for patients and providers. The FRM develops ethical and customer-oriented reimbursement strategies and serves as a subject matter expert on the payer landscape. The FRM communicates Genentech-specific reimbursement programs and policies to key stakeholders, works with them to prevent access restrictions, and measures their impact.

PATIENT ASSISTANCE LEAD (PAL)

The Patient Assistance Lead or PAL provides information and education to patients, caregivers, and the community, all along the access journey and explains Genentech-specific reimbursement programs, policies, procedures, and resources. The PAL facilitates staff and attends local advocacy events and engages with local advocacy on programming and marketing-related sponsorships.

The PAL provides the appropriate follow-up with HCP in support of the patient. In addition, the PAL communicates payer terms, identifies and resolves on-label reimbursement issues concerns, and leverages in-house support teams.

CLINICAL EDUCATION MANAGER (CEM)

The Clinical Education Manager or CEM partners with clinical specialists, customers, and patients to increase their knowledge and understanding of Genentech brands, their benefits, and use. The CEM gives input into marketing materials, actively participates in local clinician groups, and provides training and education sessions.

CLINICAL REIMBURSEMENT MANAGER (CRM)

The Clinical Reimbursement Manager or CRM is a newly created field team position just within Ocrevus that provides education on the clinical profile and the approved infusion process, and compliantly supports customers with patient specific access needs for the benefit of patients and their continuity of care.

MEDICAL SCIENCE LIAISON (MSL)

The Medical Science Liaison or MSL serves as a credible scientific partner to top-tier TAEs, healthcare decision makers, and their internal ecosystem and TA partners. They are responsible for co-creating the local medical strategy using their deep clinical and health economic expertise to further patient outcomes aligned with the overarching organization objectives.
