Expected Duration/Hours: 20 hours/week for 1 year Pay Basis Hourly Salary Grade FLSA Status: Nonexempt Job Summary
Supports the UWM Multimedia (video and photo) team in the production of brand and marketing campaign assets. Specific job responsibilities include:
Preproduction & project management:
Assist in developing storyboards and creating timelines and production plans for video projects
Find locations, secure permissions and logistics and execute site checks
Schedule shoots, handling preparations such purchasing props or hiring a makeup artist
Assist in the identification and recruitment of a diverse array of students and other subjects for shoots
Assist in securing model releases and managing compensation for shoot participants
Maintain accurate, complete and timely record of activities and projects
Production assistance:
Participate in large-scale video productions as a boom operator and running sound or helping set up and modify lights, etc.
Serve as a visual observer or production assistant at drone shoots
Direct extras and monitor the performance of extras at shoots
Digital assets management:
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in film, photography, journalism, communications or another video-related field
Two years professional videography experience
Two years professional photography experience
Demonstrated project management, scheduling and organizational skills
Experience working with cinema cameras and camera movement equipment such as sliders, gimbals, etc.
Demonstrated experience with lighting
Demonstrated proficiency in using Adobe Premiere (or an equivalent software program) for video editing and file organization
Experience handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Experience working in collaborative team environments
Target Salary Range Salary will be determined by finalist's experience, training, education and equity-based factors, but we anticipate hiring between $25.75 - $28.75/hour. Benefits and Total Rewards
