State Technical College of Missouri is accepting applications for full time, exempt and benefit eligible Multimedia Specialist position for the External Relations Division which includes Alumni, Career Services, Development and the Osage View country club. Required Qualifications: Education - Bachelor's degree, however experience in a closely related field may be considered as a substitution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of relevant multimedia experience.

• Keen eye for design and design principals.

• Advanced knowledge of WordPress website content management system.

• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva and InDesign.

• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and/or After Effects.

• Working knowledge of using a DSL and/or ENG camera to take still photos and shoot video.

• A portfolio that demonstrates these abilities.

• Ability to interpret data and use that to help with designs.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Assist in the creation of signage for the division including but not limited to laser engraving, vinyl cutting and wrapping, large form printing.

• Time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

• This position also requires effective relationships with internal staff, partners, and a wide variety of diverse groups from industry, academia, government, and the community.

• A proven ability to provide excellent customer service.

• This position also requires the ability to effectively address multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with the External Relations team to assist in the marketing strategy for all the departments in the division.

• Assist in the College's web presence as a tool for marketing, development, and alumni relations. Create new content as well as update existing content on the website.

• Assist in the development of electronic media and related marketing materials.

• Assist in the production of all college publications, with a strong knowledge of graphic design and desktop publishing techniques.

• Assist in photo and video shoots for all promotional materials.

• Help create engaging and compelling media for our social media channels (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)

• Continue to learn and be willing to engage with emerging technologies in marketing to increase efficiency and effectiveness and to keep the college on the leading edge.

• Assist with related duties or special projects as assigned.

• Perform other related duties as needed or assigned.
