Position Overview

The Multimedia Programmer works closely with stakeholders to conceive, design, lay out, and coordinate illustrations and creative artwork for distributed learning courseware including on-line, broadcast, video, and computer-based interactive courseware which adheres to SCORM and in accordance with client and industry standards.

This position is located on-site with the client at Joint-Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, DC.


  • Design and develop creative learning solutions such as templates, animations, graphics, and layouts

  • Develop interpretive themes that convey ideas and information

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and create cost efficient graphic designs through available mediums

  • Create graphic presentations

  • Demonstrate superior oral and written communication skills

  • Be self-directed, highly professional, and collaborative

Minimum Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience with multimedia software such as Adobe Creative Clod, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop

Desired Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant area

  • Military experience

  • Favorable DoD Polygraph

Interact with sources internal and external to the client's organization to obtain and leverage the latest science information and multimedia resources for any requested science communication deliverable and coordinate closely with client's science communication team at client headquarters and client field centers on agency-wide strategic communication efforts. Maintain and curate a library of multimedia content, including slides, images, movies, and archived presentations, which can be searchable and used as a resource for all of the client's organization.
