Statement of Job:

The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking applicants for a full-time Multimedia Marketing Content Specialist position. This position is responsible for developing visually appealing graphics for various printed media, as well as creating engaging marketing videos and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop content aligned with our brand strategy. The position's creative vision plays a crucial role in driving audience engagement and optimizing content performance. Salary: The hiring salary range for this position is in the low to mid-50s and is commensurate with training, education, and experience and will take into consideration the salary of current UMS employees for transfer/promotion.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Understanding of graphic design principles and experience with graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite).

  • Proficiency in industry-standard video and graphic design work.

  • Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with others to complete projects and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of higher education marketing and/or communication.

  • Motion Graphics and animation skills.

  • Familiarity with audio production and editing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Five years of successful design experience.

Licenses/Certifications: N/A

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a higher education setting.

  • Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software.
