The Multimedia Coordinator will take photos, video, reels, and stories of members for use on online platforms including social media. The Multimedia Coordinator will also help produce various pieces of marketing collateral. The Coordinator will work with the marketing team based out of the Administrative Office located in Albany, NY.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Documents

  • HS Diploma/GED, or degree/transcripts (upload to DOCUMENTS section of Presence).
  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or related field (Preferred).

  • Previous experience in communications, marketing, videography, or related field.

  • Strong photo, video, and audio taking skills.

  • Loves fast-paced environments with a positive working attitude toward challenging project goals.

  • Comfortable with public speaking.

  • Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro, Logic/Garage Band, and Canva. Must be organized and able to adapt to challenges and solve problems on the fly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Marketing Materials Production

  • Support in creating and editing web graphics, flyers, and other visual content that tell the CDYMCA story in a visual and compelling way, while following brand guidelines.

  • Organize photo/video/audio using the existing filing system and ensure a backup of all CDYMCA multimedia assets.

  • Assist with video production - operate cameras, set up lights, and run audio equipment.

Social Media

  • Support implementing social media strategy to drive traffic and increase engagement across multiple platforms for 10+ locations.

  • Support in sourcing, shooting, and editing original video content material intended for social media.

  • Execute video editing projects for reels and stories.

Outreach

  • Attend events and projects throughout the counties we serve (Greene County to Lake George), including some weekend and evening hours.

  • Reliable transportation is a must.

Part Time

  • Up to 25 hours a week, $15.00 per hour.
