Description:This position is in support of the Land Training Solutions Mission Area and is contingent upon winning the LCPM Program.
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial management, planning, analysis and reporting support for various Land Training Solutions programs. They will work directly with Program Management and Control Account Management to provide program analysis and explanations and recommendations on program performance. They will also ensure compliance with all PPM processes and procedures. Specific tasks include: weekly manpower reporting; cost/schedule variance analysis and reporting; updating monthly outlooks; providing EAC/CEAC analysis; identifying risks and opportunities and making recommendations to contain program cost exposure; work directly with Control Account Managers (CAMs) to develop and maintain contract budget baselines; Budget Change Request (BCR) analysis and incorporation into financial tools; interface with Master Planning/Scheduling staff as needed in order to properly integrate cost and schedule; participate in baseline reviews and program and customer reviews.
This position is part of the Early Career Development Program (ECDP) within the Finance and Business Operations function. The program lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 years (may vary based on employee's start date) and typically consists of a rotational experience, formal mentor and 'buddy' programs, and a standardized training curriculum; all of which are designed to provide a broad background in the finance and business operations functions.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Finance or Accounting.
