JOB DESCRIPTION: DETAILS Position Summary:

The RN coordinates patient care with multi-disciplinary team members to facilitate health promotion and continuity of care in a cost efficient manner.# Provides direct nursing care to individuals patients and assists patient family as directed by the nursing and medical plan of care utilizing the nursing process and according to the standards and guidelines established by professional nursing organizations.# The RN communicates with the patient, family and multi-disciplinary team members to provide up-to-date information, promotes effective coping behaviors, and evaluates the patient#s response to implemented care.# Patient populations cared for include, newborn, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. Education and Training Required: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.

Current RN licensure in the state of Wisconsin. General inpatient and outpatient units:# BLS, ACLS and PALS certified; must show completion within 12 months of hire. Birth Center:# BLS, ALSO, NRP, EFM certified; must show completion within 12 months of hire.

MultiCare Center:# BLS certified, PALS and ACLS preferred. Advanced Certification preferred. Meets health requirements.

Experience: Birth Center:# Graduate#nursing students from an accredited 2 year or 4 year program required.# 1-2 years obstetric experience preferred. MultiCare Center:# Graduate#nursing students from an accredited 2 year or 4 year program required.# 6 months to 1 year of acute care experience preferred.

Critical Care:# Graduate#nursing students from an accredited 2 year or 4 year program required.# 6 months to 1 year Critical Care experience in either ED or ICU preferred.

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work in a fast paced patient environment with appropriate technological support. Must be able to deal with multiple priorities in a calm matter.

Requires decision-making, critical thinking and problem solving skills. Recognizes legal responsibilities and functions as specified by Nurse Practice Act. Physical

Physical Demands: Frequent standing and walking. Birth Center:# Assisting labor patients may require standing at bedside or crib for extended periods.

Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 10 pounds. Occasionally lifting, pushing and pulling#up to 50 pounds when moving equipment or providing patient care.# Occasionally bend to the floor, squat, kneel, crouch and reach overhead to assist with patient care or retrieve equipment or supplies. Frequent reaching in front of body while assisting patients and using equipment.

Fine motor skills needed to operate equipment, such as monitors and computers and to provide patient care, such as starting IV#s. Birth Center:# Need sustained grip to care for babies. Sight: Occasionally use sight capacities, including spatial, peripheral, colors, accommodation and depth perception.

Frequently use near and far vision while reviewing patient records, computer screens, charts, hemoccult results, gauges on patient equipment, monitors, etc. Occasional adaptation from computer to patient care. Cognition/Communication:

Frequently utilizes simple reading skills, normal conversations. Occasional complex reading, writing and math skills to acquire communicate and use knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality patient care. Frequently is exposed to low volume speech with patients and telephone conversations with other members of the healthcare team, physicians, and family members.

Environmental Conditions: Continual exposure to an inside, patient environment with occasional unpleasant odors or noises. Occasional exposure to low light or glare conditions.

Potential Hazards: Occasional exposure to low light or glare conditions. Occasional exposure to infectious blood/body fluids and diseases requiring infection control practices, red infectious waste.

Occasional exposure to needles/syringes/sharps during medication administration, assistance with treatments, invasive procedures. Psychological, Situational, Functional Factors: Continuous need to work closely with others, including staff, patients and visitors.

Ability to work alone in stressful situations. Frequent problem solving, analyzing, use of judgment and critical thinking in regard to lab values, changes of patient condition, environmental factors, flexibility. Occasionally able to rotate shifts, work overtime, be on call.

Continuously plan and direct patient care, manage conflict or difficult situations. Prioritize workflow while maintaining speed, accuracy and consistency.

Education and Training Required:

The Floating ACM role is a performance based, hands-on, customer-focused role that is responsible for assisting the Center Sales Manager (CSM) in handling the center's daily operations, including doing so in a manner that complies with all federal and state regulations and adheres to company policies, procedures, and practices. This position is responsible to perform an active role in meeting all performance goals and metrics for the center as defined by management. In order to do so, this position requires attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for sales. This position is responsible to develop, assist, and participate in all marketing and collection efforts, both internally and externally. In the absence of a CSM, this position would be required to perform all CSM responsibilities. Responsibilities Customer Service, Sales, & Marketing: Actively lead and assist employees in meeting the center's performance metrics as defined by management. Understand, recommend, and sell financial products and services to customers. Build strong relationships with current and prospective customers, in person and over the phone. Manage customer concerns, and actively participate in customer transactions. Deploy marketing efforts in the community to generate sales and customer growth, and complete marketing tracking sheets as required. Operations, Compliance, & Collections: Assist the CSM in managing the P&L to meet all budgeted numbers and in meeting management's expectations related to center performance. Adhere to the Company's policies, procedures, Creed, and to all applicable state and federal regulations. Maintain accurate cash controls and ensure that security procedures are in line with Company and Loss Prevention (LP) Standards. Enter customer and transaction information accurately into the point of sales system, and create and maintain accurate customer files with all required documentation. Qualifications Equivalent Education Level Required: High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
