ACI is privately held and has grown from one young Engineer to a staff of over 230. ACI designs, manufactures, and sells its STALKER BRAND of products Worldwide. In addition to being the domestic sales leader in police traffic radar, Applied Concepts, Inc. manufactures and sells Lidar speed measurement devices, along with a variety of Traffic Calming Speed Sensors, roadside Speed Trailers, roadside Speed Signs, and a broad line of Sport Speed Measurement products.

Job Summary

The Group Manager would have a staff of 6 in-house Application Developer and about 5 India based Developers. You would report to the Programming & Applications Manager.

Applied Concepts has been using PICK or Multi-Value Database programmed systems to operate every facet of its business since 1995.

We are seeking an honest, mature and career-oriented Manager/Full-Stack Application Developer/manager experienced in Python, JavaScript and Multi-value Database integration (OpenQM) to work with and manage a six-person Application Development Team at the Applied Concepts, Inc. 2-building campus in Richardson, Texas.

We are looking for an exceptional individual that can Manage and lead our small Application Development Team and maintain and expand applications for all departments within our company which include: a CRM for Field Sales and Inside Sales, Customer Service systems, full Accounting systems, HR, complete Engineering systems, an MRP for Purchasing, a full Manufacturing control system, Quality Control, and Shipping/Receiving.

We will be particularly interested if you have:

• A small company background and are used to "wearing many hats"

• Full-Stack development experience using Python, JavaScript, complex CSS, utilizing JSON integration with Multi-Value databases.

• OpenQM - Multi-Value Database programming experience

• Unidata, jBase, PickBasic programming experience

• Linux development and networking experience

Job Requirements:

• You must currently live near (or be willing to relocate to) the Richardson, Texas area

• A four-year degree with 10 years' experience

• A two-year degree with 15 years' experience

• Prior software development experience

• Prior management experience

• Strong communication skills

• Pass a drug screening test
