The Role:

The Multi-Unit Training Manager is an Above Restaurant Leader in the Quick Service Restaurant Industry-Dunkin'. The Restaurant Training Manager has a fundamental understanding of operations and the ability to train others for operational excellence. They are the subject expert in training, deployment, delegation, efficiency, Brand operational systems, and Brand materials. They must have the ability to work hands on with crew members and Store managers-fostering adherence to Brand standards, streamlining efficiency, and elevating operational excellence across all day parts. In order to effect change, the Restaurant Training Manager must be able to conduct thorough store evaluations via observation, audits, and on-the-floor involvement. Then they must develop a store plan, execute their plan, and incorporate metrics to gauge their success.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Dunkin' Brands Learner Management Center-The Training Manager must track training compliance, retail turn training completion, and the day to day maintenance of users (transfers, additions, deletions).

  • Crew Member Core Training-Six trainings that all crew must have completed as part of their onboarding process.

  • Food Safety, Drive Thru, and Retail Turn Audits-Use various Brand or created forms to track stores success in food safety, drive thru efficiency, and POP (retail turn) completion in order to align with Brand Standards. Maintain a historical database for comprehensive assessments.

  • Shift Management Training-Attain certification as a Dunkin' Shift Management trainer, imparting expertise to network leaders and driving successful integration of materials to enhance store performance.

  • Reporting-Deliver consistent, professional, and insightful reports encompassing all managed areas. Provide comparative analyses on a week-to-week, month-to-month, or period-to-period basis, offering performance insights and appropriate deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Since this Training Manager position is in the restaurant industry, all restaurant experience will be regarded as a plus, but experience in the Quick Service Restaurant industry is more germane to the position

  • 4+ years of experience working in the Quick Service Restaurant industry

  • 1+ years of experience working as a supervisor or higher role in the Quick Service Restaurant industry

  • Experience training new crew members in the Quick Service Restaurant industry

  • Experience deploying crew members for peak efficiency in a Quick Service Restaurant

  • Drive-Thru experience preferred

  • Strong coaching acumen, evident through past success in driving performance and fostering developmental growth

  • Proven ability to assess store needs in training compliance, efficiency, and food safety and from assessment, draft a detailed store plan with clear deliverables and projected outcomes

  • A history of self-driven problem-solving, consistently contributing to team development and successful outcomes

  • Experience with Ecosure audits and Food Safety Assessments

  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, especially excel or google-sheets

Location: In-Person-80% travel required

Term: 3 Month Probationary Period

Hours per Week: ~40-50
