GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the coordinator for Psychological Services, the coach is responsible for supporting schools' Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) initiatives and training. This includes providing support in implementation, organizing activities, and collecting, analyzing, and reporting data.
ESSENTIAL TASKS

Support sustainability and expansion of MTSS practices division-wide.
Provide training and technical assistance to school teams to maintain and develop systems of school-wide
Provide professional development and training at all three tiers of interventions to school‐based teams and
Coordinate with building administrators and school‐based teams on all MTSS
Monitor school and division databases to track student data related to behavior and school climate, suspensions, office referrals, attendance data, etc.
Participate in designated leadership team meetings at the division and building
Provide support to school‐based staff and school
Review school and division‐wide data to inform and guide MTSS decision‐making related to implementation
Participate in regional, statewide, and national MTSS leadership conferences and
Perform related work, as
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have an extensive knowledge and understanding of the concepts, principles, and methodologies of teaching and learning and current practices related to MTSS at all three tiers: universal, secondary, and tertiary. Experience planning and conducting professional development/training. Must possess the ability to work collaboratively with various groups. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with individuals, teams, and groups (teachers, administrators, and support staff).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a teacher, school counselor, behavioral specialist, or school psychologist.
Preferred: Experience with effective behavior intervention training to include school-wide, classroom, and individual student behavior intervention plans, or school improvement.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have the use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public using the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle, or feel objects and controls. Frequent sitting, walking, bending, grasping, fingering, repetitive motion, reaching, and driving. Occasional standing, stooping, and crouching. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently. Requires timely and regular adherence to established work schedules.

Salary Range: From/To
Hourly rate range: $30.95-$45.15
Compensation will be based on job-related creditable years of full-time, verified work experience. The entry-level rate will be awarded at the time of hire. Upon the return of employment verification forms from the candidate's current and previous employers, the rate will be adjusted if creditable full-time experience is confirmed.
