Multi-Skilled Mechanic

Starting Wage: $34.00 + 0.80 shift differential

Shift: 2nd shift, 2pm-10pm

Location: 207 Laurel Hill Road, Verona VA

Daikin is seeking a Multi-Skilled Mechanic who will perform a wide variety of mechanical and electrical duties to maintain equipment and facilities for the Chiller Products Business Unit in a safe, clean, and efficiently operational manner. Must adhere to procedures and prepare and maintain records in written or electronic form. Will assist other personnel or perform other duties as assigned.

What you will do:

• Read, interpret, understand, and work from drawings, sketches, schematics, CMM work requests and other written, electronic, or verbal instruction

• Work with a variety of raw and synthetic materials

• Operate various tools and equipment to move, manipulate, install, maintain, diagnose, dismantle, and repair machinery, equipment, and facilities

• Maintain required records

• Direct, guide, assist, and/or train others to promote manufacturing flexibility

Qualifications:

• Certified Maintenance Mechanic or equivalent education and experience

• Advanced training, education and testing for higher pay grades

• 4 years' experience and 2 years working with high voltage
