Townsen Memorial Imaging is hiring for a full-time Multi-Modality Technologist in Spring,TX.

The Multi-Modality Technologist is responsible for operating a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used in the diagnosis and treatment of patient pathologies. The Multi-Modality Technologist position provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic procedures, delivering exceptional patient care, teamwork, and adheres to radiation standards and guidelines established by governing agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. • Assume responsibility for the preventive maintenance program for mammography equipment. • Perform quality control procedures to ensure that the mammography equipment operates at optimal levels. • Exercise responsibility to ensure that the mammography equipment is functioning accurately. • Coordinates activities/tasks to maintain compliance and accreditation with the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the American College of Radiology (ACR) • Demonstrates high-level knowledge of established protocols and equipment operation when performing quality control testing • Works closely with the Radiologists, Physicists and Bio Med to ensure the department operates within compliance of MQSA regulations • Prepares and updates as needed all Quality control documentation forms and performs frequent review of all QC records to ensure compliance with MQSA KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: • Knowledge of the principles and practices of diagnostic radiographic procedures • Knowledge of basic chemistry, film apparatus, and film processing techniques • Knowledge of how disease and injuries are diagnosed and imaged radiographically • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work • Knowledge of human anatomy • Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications • Strong attention to detail: being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks • Ability to work independently by guiding oneself with little or no supervision, and depending one oneself to get things done • Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Associates Degree or Graduate from a school of Radiologic Technology approved by the AMA • Certified in Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists American Registry of Radiologic Technology • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification • Two years' combined experience in more than one specialty modality BENEFITS: 3 Medical Plans 2 Dental Plans 2 Vision Plans Employee Assistant Program Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance Accidental Death & Dismemberment Plan 401(k) with a 2-year vesting PTO Holidays WORK WEEK SCHEDULE:
