Job Summary
Under limited supervision, the Account Executive - MDU is responsible for selling communications services to multiple dwelling unit (MDU) clients and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Responsibilities
Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values
Negotiates and prepares complete and accurate documentation for client agreements for new and existing properties based on strategic, financial, legal and operational criteria
Sells video, data and telephony products to MDU clients
Meets or exceeds corporate/system sales goals
Prospects, cold calls (by phone and in person) and generates new sales opportunities
Develops and maintains strategic account plans
Develops relationships with clients and provides solutions to meet their needs
Develops proposals and presentations to deliver to customers and prospects
Ensures client retention and cross-sells and up-sells to existing clients
Partners with sales engineer and sales support team to determine appropriate solutions for complex customer issues
Ensures product pricing is consistent with pricing structures set at the corporate level and competitive environment
Performs ROI assessment for profitability and submits for approval
Updates essential client information in a timely manner
Processes client disconnect orders
Ensures customer satisfaction throughout sales cycle
Maintains database information and customer records
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Two years commercial sales experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills
Strong people and relationship management skills
Computer skills including Windows-based applications
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to analyze accurately with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and with others
Ability to comply with all Company safety procedures
Ability to drive vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
Appropriate valid driver's license and driving record within Company standards
Ability to communicate in person, by telephone or in writing
Ability to sort and distribute materials
Ability to use reasoning to problem-solve and troubleshoot
Ability to use a calculator, PC, CRT, keyboard and other standard office machines
Ability to work in a climate controlled, air processed environment
Ability to give public presentations
Consultative selling experience preferred
Bi-lingual proficiency preferred in some locations

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $48,949.00 - $80,416.00 / year. The rate/Range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
