Multi-Care Tech

Performs basic routine patient care procedures as directed under the supervision of the Nurse. Accurately collects blood and other specimens from patients in a timely manner and ensures accurate and safe delivery of the labeled specimens to the lab.

Performs electrocardiograph evaluations for patients as directed by physicians according to established standards and practices. Work is performed in accordance with Hospital Policies and Procedures. Performs other related duties as required.

Maintain orderly, safe and clean environment. Consistently displays professional conduct during interactions. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with participation in shared leadership.

Attendance meets hospital requirements. Accepts responsibility for individual actions. Actively shares knowledge, information and expertise with members of the interdisciplinary team.

Seeks out new knowledge and integrates into practice. Follows through with standards of care. Takes action to prevent failure to rescue.

High school diploma or#GED required. Patient Care Tech experience preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
