Process document that outlines the steps and dependencies in the life cycle of an API development and deployment. I.e. What are all of the steps in developing 1 data service API?
Description and document of the environments supporting CDOT data service development and deployment. Includes description and diagrams for the various environments (dev, stage, production, etc.) as well as network architecture, software architecture (Mule runtime, Anypoint, etc.). This deliverable also includes frameworks, templates and methodologies for developing MuleSoft APIs.
Description and document of how security access and identity is managed in conjunction with OIT policies and requirements. This deliverable outlines the integration, restrictions and management of security for API access such that the solution is compliant with State and CDOT regulations.
Agile Sprint Plan that outlines when data services are expected to be developed and delivered. This is understood to be dependent on CDOT prioritization, OIT access and preliminary sizing estimates.
Subject to the Sprint Plan and preliminary sizing, the MuleSoft APIs will be delivered in a cadence according to the API Delivery Plan. I.e. 3 data services NTP + 60. 3 additional data services NTP + 90 in a monthly cadence example. Monthly is the minimum delivery cadence with 2 weeks being desired. Data Service delivery is inclusive of the API code, API embedded documentation, test code, design and code reviews, external documentation and metadata, deployment of the artifacts to the production environment and knowledge transfer to OIT Integrations team.
Documentation and working versions of an API framework for future CDOT data services. This includes a defined framework for API definition (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE conventions, path vs. query parameter guidelines, structure for data access guidelines and naming conventions for operations) as well as a framework for system, process and experience APIs to leverage the most re-usability especially for common data sources such as SAP, SQL Server, Oracle and ESRI web services.
