What you'll be doing...

Mainframe Production Control Batch Scheduling & Endevor Support has a MTS IV position open for a CA7 and ESP scheduler supporting batch workload and software installs for enterprise mainframe mission critical applications. Asa leader, you will work on medium to large projects such as mainframe application conversions, data center consolidations, and CA7 administration. In this role, you will be responsible for managing batch workload for Verizon Wireless mainframe applications such as VISION, VISION 5, eTNI, and CACS as well as Verizon Wireline and Business mainframe applications. Implement innovative solutions for difficult problems to streamline business processes and improve automation.

  • CA7 and ESP scheduler supporting production and test databases.

  • In CA7 and ESP, schedule batch workload for critical daily billing cycles and rating processes. This includes job definitions, schedules, calendars, triggers, dependencies, virtual resource management, arfsets, user holds, external/cross platform dependencies, and other requirements.

  • Implement CA Endevor mainframe production software installs.

  • Manage batch workload metrics and SLA reports to provide to leadership.

  • Works with many developers and IBM MFaaS support.

  • Schedule and support enterprise release implementations.

  • Schedule IPL maintenance windows and manage online availability.

  • Research and investigate batch, online, and MFT issues.

  • Job Track batch analytics and ENS abend notification system.

  • Create billing calendars in Google and CA7.

  • Audit requirements.

  • Weblog entries to post daily batch schedule for monitoring team.

  • Support Disaster Recovery Exercises by managing in scope batch workload.

  • CA Driver Proc assistance and coding.

  • Involved in ESP scheduling to support wireline mainframe application.

  • Test and implement major CA7 upgrades.

  • Continually develop and refine best practices for technology integration.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Associate's degree or two or more years of work experience.

  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.

  • Mainframe TSO experience

  • Two or more years of CA7 scheduling tool experience in an enterprise setting.

  • Experience with CA tools such as Endevor, View, ESP, and JCLCheck

  • Knowledge of all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle including Agile Methodologies and DevSecOps processes.

  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time in a fast paced environment.

  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to facilitate team and internal meetings effectively and to deliver feedback.

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives while maintaining quality delivery.

  • High motivation, are a self-starter with the ability to learn quickly.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Position Overview To efficiently handle the prepping of all incoming appeals. This role will act as the point of contact for the coding analyst teams as it relates to all incoming appeals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Responsible for prepping and "policing" all incoming appeals assigned to personal queue; including but not limited to ensuring proper documentation as well as contact information is uploaded. * · Adhering to client specific guidelines for special appeals handling. * · Assign appeals to coding analysts in accordance with designated routing rules. * · Review, resolve and complete all appeals assigned to queues * in which a review by a coding analyst is not required: * (ETF, Non-Accepted, Attachment Missing, projects as assigned). * · Inputting requests to clients as needed for additional information; * following up on those requests in a timely manner and providing * resolution to the claim. * · Aiding in preparation of a claim for adjustments as necessary. * · Corresponding with Client Service Associates as needed in regard to * appeal related concerns: balance bills, escalated appeals, waiving * ETF guidelines, etc. * · Handle and respond to appeals emails regarding appeal status and * appeal escalations; distributing appeals to Jr. Appeals Assistant for * attachment. * · Provide support to Junior Appeals Assistants as necessary. * · Forwarding correspondence to appropriate department(s) as * necessary. * · Faxing out correspondence to providers as necessary. * · Performs other related responsibilities as assigned * · Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to ZELIS standards regarding privacy. * Has developed an understanding of the appeal process and edit logic * Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize CMS/Prizem, MS Office Applications, Adobe Application (PDF) * Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature in which judgment and initiative are required to make recommendations or resolve problems, thorough knowledge of the company and departmental policies and procedures professional experience/qualifications * High school diploma * 1-2 years healthcare experience * Excellent written & verbal communication skills * Knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel & Internet Explorer * Strong prioritizing & organizational skills for fast-paced department * Impeccable customer service & telephone skills COMPENSATION: This is a full time position with an attractive hourly rate as well as comprehensive benefits plans to choose from.
