MTS - Backend Engineer (IDF)

We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong background in programming, development, and automation to be part of Insights Data Fabric (IDF) team. Our team is working on exciting new challenges in building a data fabric that powers the distributed management plane. If you are up to the challenge and would like to be a part of a team that makes history, then this job might be for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the overall architecture, design and implementation of next generation distributed database for config and time-series data including query and storage components

  • Develop a deep understanding of complex distributed systems, and design innovative solutions for customer requirements.

  • Work closely with development, test, documentation and product management teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.

  • A strong passion to support customers through their requirements and pain points is required to perform this duty.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.

  • 5+ years of industry experience.

  • Experience with Database Software development, NoSQL database development such as Cassandra or RocksDB.

  • Love for writing clean, modular code in a fast paced, Agile development model.

  • Solid C++/Java/Golang experience required.

  • Development experience in operating systems and distributed systems management.

  • Familiarity with OS internals, concepts of distributed data management, and design/implementation tradeoffs in building clustered, high- performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems software.

  • Experience in working in Linux environment.

  • Strong communication skills and a strong team player
