As a MLT/MT at Merit Health Madison, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best-providing quality care to our patients!

About The Job:

• The Medical Lab Technician/Medical Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic quality routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests according to pre-established guidelines.

• Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience.

• Performs instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures and maintains records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements.

• Day shift 6:00am-6:00pm

Education/Requirements:

• Requires graduation from a Medical Lab Technician program and passing or being eligible for a national exam given by the Board of Registry.

• Experience: One (1) year of medical laboratory experience is preferred.
