MSSP Account Manager (AMSL2776)

Objective:In this key role, you will support the recruitment of Managed Security Service Providers and their successful adoption of Fortinet technology for their service portfolios with a focus on competitive conversion, broadening market share amongst MSPs and VARs and driving Fortinet vendor preference with new MSSP partners. You will be responsible for the recruitment of new MSSPs and partners moving from MSP or VAR business models to a security services orientation into the MSSP Partner Program as an overlay to regional Channel Account Managers. You will work with Fortinet Business Development Representatives, Channel Account Managers, Partner Service Managers and your SE team to recruit new MSSP Partners demonstrating the Fortinet Security Fabric as a margin rich services platform, teaching them how to build and sell profitable Managed Security Services for delivery via CPE and Cloud based deployment methods. Your focus will be the engagement and conversion of MSP and VARs from resale-oriented business models to security services and MSSPs supporting competitive security vendors to Fortinet in their managed security service offerings You will also be responsible for MSSP Channel Program and partner go-to-market event staffing and collaboration with Channel, National Accounts, Retail and SLED/Fed account teams You will negotiate terms of business with MSSP partners to achieve win/win results that provide the basis for strong ongoing relationships Responsibilities:

Proven track record of monetizing managed security services Minimum 3 years plus yrs selling enterprise network security products and network services Proven track record of successful Partner product and sales training Experience in managing partners and sell-through relationships Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors Excellent written and verbal communication skills Extensive knowledge with SFDC, specifically pipeline management A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move projects to achieve strategic goals Minimum 3 years experience with an IT manufacturer with an emphasis on channel management Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Competitive, Self-starter, Hunter-type mentality Travel: 60percent #LI-KD1
