Summary: Will work proactively with clients to ensure their business is always using technology in the most efficient and effective manner they can be. This position also acts as an advocate for the client to ensure company is constantly delivering the very best customer service and support. This individual will analyze the clients business processes as they relate to technology and help to identify opportunities for added value through product enhancements. This position assists with the escalation and resolution of client support issues, reports on client issues in monthly networking meetings, assists with proactive calls around contract renewal, and is responsible for delivering training programs and client surveys.
Makes recommendations to clients concerning their network, purchasing and deployment of computers, servers and all other network hardware and software.
Helps establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by excelling in job duties.
Travels to customer sites and deploys IT related products and services.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding highly complex technical concepts in technical and non-technical terms depending on the audience.
Assists in the development of formal product deployment plans.
Deliver on-site technical training and/or presentations.
Create technical training documentation.
Serves as a project manager on projects such as network deployment, server installations, etc.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelors degree in IT or equivalent IT work experience.
Minimum of ten years of experience in IT support and consultation.
Excellent internal and external verbal, written and listening communication skills.
Works independently yet supports team responsibilities.
Maintains a positive, friendly, can-do attitude.
Must demonstrate the soft skills necessary to manage external client relationships.
Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience is required
